Damask Rose

Brought to the West by Syrian crusaders, the Damask rose quickly became the most sought after variant in European courts for its perfume and extraordinary pharmacological properties.

Rich in anti-ageing ingredients, it also has excellent moisturizing and soothing properties.

Scrivia Valley Rose

A rare variety that was brought back from the brink of extinction with the support of the University of Genoa. This variant of rose was cultivated for centuries for its sense-stimulating characteristics like a deep potent scent and an intense, lasting natural red color.

They also contain a particularly active substance against bacteria, and helps restore the pH balance of the skin, calms redness and soothes irritation.

Rose Centifolia Muscosa

The Muscosa is also an ancient variant of rose known for its perfume and natural preservatives. The chalice of the flower is covered with thick and soft thorns that give a feeling similar to the moss of wood from which, probably, the name originates.

The Hip Rose is a botanical rose that grows spontaneously and is among the oldest species in Europe being present for thousands of years. It is known for the high content of Vitamin C, which helps strengthen the immune system, activates microcirculation and boosts cell renewal.

Extracts: Pure, Precious and Powerful

At JB, we take pride in the three most distinctive features of our rose extracts that make our range naturally effective and qualitatively superior.

Pure

To produce our rose extracts, we only use petals of organically grown flowers from the JB Rose Farm and the seeds of wild roses naturally growing in our valley.

All our extracts retain the high concentration of active ingredients without the use of any additives or chemicals.

Precious

The Damask Rose blooms for only 3 weeks a year and it takes over 300kg of the flower to get 1gr of essential oil, making it one of the most precious essential oils to source and extract.

The amount of extracts from our roses produces only a few thousand pieces each year. This is what makes each product uniquely exclusive, thereby limiting their distribution to select boutiques only.

Powerful

Considered to be the Queen of Roses, the Damask rose is as precious as it is powerful with a high concentration of over 140 compounds that aid therapeutic and skin healing.

The absence of any chemical solvents, which are normally used in the traditional extraction process, eliminates the presence of traces in the final extract and the innovative extracting method keeps it highly concentrated and effective in its natural form.
